Estoril Bay

Situated about 20 km to the west of Lisbon, Portugal's capital city, Estoril is one of the major tourist attractions in the area, featuring sandy beaches, magnificent hotels and the famous Estoril Formula 1 race course.

Foreign and domestic flights land at Lisbon's Aerorporto de Lisboa, situated to the east of the city. From the airport, a (rented) car or taxi reaches Estoril within 25 minutes using the west-bound motorway (A5). A more scenic journey is possible using regular train services leaving the Estação do Cais do Sodré train station, which is a 5 minute taxi drive away from the airport.

Conference Venue

The Conference will take place at the Estoril Congress Centre, situated in the heart of Estoril near the Casino Gardens. The 2001 built venue offers excellent meeting facilities euqipped with latest presentation technologies. Vast open areas and lounges invite participants to discuss presentations they may have attended. 

Accommodation

A sufficient number of rooms has been blocked for participants of "ICAA Estoril 2009" in a number of hotels of various categories. Please check offers listed on the Conference website or the Hotel Flyer for further details.

Visa Information

Please contact the nearest Portuguese Embassy where you may obtain relevant information  whether you need a visa to enter Portugal, which is member of the European Union. The Conference Office will be happy to assist you, should this be he case.
