ICAA Conference on Dependencies

For the first time in 115 years of international conferences, ICAA welcomes you to Mexico! The beautiful city of Cancún, situated in the federal state of Quintana Roo on the Caribbean coast in the south- east of the fifth largest country of the Americas will see the 53rd International ICAA Conference on Dependencies from 7 to 12 November 2010. The conference will be co-hosted by Centros de Integración Juvenil, A.C. (CIJ), the largest Mexican NGO active in the area of prevention, treatment and research of addictions.

The conference will see a number of plenary sessions with invited speakers of international renown. The programme will be completed with a series of skill building workshops addressing questions relevant in day to day practice of professionals working in the area of prevention, treatment, policy making and research of dependencies. Contributed papers will be hosted in major sessions and by meetings of the ICAA Sections, which regroup professionals with a common interest and allow in-depth exchange and dialogue.
